Oh NO this means Charlie Sheen is officially #NOTWINNING
His negative personal comments about his bosses and the people who pay him his overblown salary, not to mention the lawsuit threats pretty much sealed his future within that organization.
Money is not everything to the people who have plenty of it and apparently, they had enough of him.
Simple. He bit the hand that fed him. If Charlie can do it; then anyone can do it. It’s amazing - in instances like this; Hollywood actually has principles.
One of the few, and very limited cases where Hollywood actually stood for a principle. Self-serving, yes; but nonetheless - a principle actually mattered.
Its a pride thing. I would guess. Personally I wouldn’t care if Charlie Sheen insults me as long as he continues to bring in $$$$$$$$.
Still no adult men.
I don’t get peoples’ fascination with this story.
I’m not convinced this isn’t a hoax, a la Joaquin Phoenix.
Now I get first shot at all the babes.
I hope that no one thinks that WB gives a crap about Charlie’s performance. He’ll be back as soon as he agrees to a new lower salary.
It's been on when I visited friends a couple of times.
A male wh@re, an effeminate geek, and a smart-@ss kid going on for 22 minutes about Sheens characters sexlife.
If any of us acted like that in real life around our children, CPS would rip the kids out of the house so quick it'd make even Charlie Sheens head spin.
Maybe Chiam Levine gave Warner Bros. an ultimatium that Carlos goes or I go.
Warner Bros. chose Chiam despite that Chiam started it by acting like a child in his vanity card postings.
Two and a Half Men is essentially over now. Warner Bros. and CBS could still have made more money.
Stamos released a statement regarding that rumor. He said he had not been asked to take over Sheen’s role in the series, but Martin Sheen had asked if Stamos would become his son. I give Stamos kudos for that one!
He hasn’t shown up for work basically at all this year. First he had to go to rehab, then when that finished he’s just been in crazy land. He wasn’t doing his job.
CBS (and Charlie), will still make a killing on Syndication.
Man you gotta be real rich or real crazy to blow an almost $2 mil/week salary.
Guess that raise he demanded aint gonna happen.
The raise won’t happen, but the stupid lawyers for the show did not put in a character clause (not sure if that is the word). It was discussed on TV and the show will have to pay him what is left this year AND maybe even next year when his contract expires. He might actually get around 60 million by the time it is over.
There was a thread on here a week or so ago that he’s probably not insurable. Nobody would know for sure unless they did a physical on him, although his interviews are damning, as far as probable drug use and psychological meltdown.
It wouldn't work, too many people would still see him as the guy from "Full House."
My idea for a series finale: Bob Newhart reprises his ‘Dr. Bob Hartley” character... and wakes up in an institutionalized setting, having been depressed since wife Emily died... and Bob says something like “What the hell kind of drugs are you giving me - I’ve had the strangest dreams...”
