Could be true, but I wish they had more info in the story. Some people here are saying that she is on welfare, lives in HUD housing, takes food stamps, etc. I did not see that anywhere in the article.

Let’s just put it this way.....if one can afford insurance, then they would never live in that section of town.

Don’t have to. Anyone who works in healthcare knows exactly what is going on. You would be amazed at the number of folks arriving in the ED by ambulance for a sore throat or minor cold. The common element? No insurance or Medicaid. Either way they are not paying for their expensive taxi ride.
