Around a.d. 1000, Scandinavia was Christianized.
This clip could be said to feature how the Christian nation of Sweden was secured.
Most historians would say Denmark is an even older Christian nation.
The flag of Denmark is commonly considered to be the oldest existing flag on Earth.

The Danes occupied what we know today as Normandy, and as such the “Normans” were only with difficulty held in check by the French. Eventually they became subjects of France after Rollo, their leader, adopted Christianity. By the 10th Century Normandy was Christianized and Christianity itself was known in Denmark. I think the Danes have always considered themselves a step above the Swedes, in smarts and in combat.
The movie “Arn” is a good movie concerning this subject.
I give it thumbs up.

Stockholm of today rivals Silicon Valley and we Swedes also enjoy the highest standard of living on Earth of all nations. Danes and Norwegians don’t exactly.
What does Sweden have that Norway doesn’t?

BTW, you luck out ~ with respect to "Swedes" ~ probably 90% of the world's population with substantial Swedish ancestry live here. If Sweden had to house them it'd be like a Middle Eastern Palestinian refugee camp.
NOTE: Danish emigration in the 1800s went mostly to Central Indiana and Wisconsin. In an analysis done recently on “leading names” they were able to identify Indianapolis as pretty much the ANDERSON/ANDERSEN capital of the Western World! Indiana even has a city named Anderson. Lot of truly gigantic pig farms in the same county.
So they fought like that just 100 years ago? Wow, pretty primative people... :)
