Yep. Nukes are great for geologically stable locations, but building them in known earthquake zones is stupid.

Lobbyist proactively advocating the dangers of the older designs could make a positive contribution exposing the benefits of newer designs. Clearly the older designs have failed. Embrace that fact; highlight that fact; become an advocate for replacing existing older designs with newer designs to avoid future inevitable failures.
