There was a missile launch around 6:35 p.m. last night from Cape Canaveral.

I’m 100 miles to the west of Canaveral and saw the rocket exhaust and wondered what that was. Came from the same spot in the eastern sky for me that I can see shuttle launches from when the sky is clear of clouds.

No sound makes it to me from launches.
