The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 23% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20. That matches the president’s lowest ratings of 2011

Don't believe it. A lot of that is whistling past the graveyard puff talk. The Dems know full well what the situation is. They more they talk about 'unbeatable' you can be sure their internal polling is going badly...............

last night we were going through some old VHS tapes, and ran across Bill Clinton’s State of The Union speech in 1995 I believe. I commented to my husband that I never thought I’d see the day that Clinton sounded “ good” to me. Of course that was comparing to this present administration!!!!
I don't know about both sides of the aisle, but I do know that the Dems and the MSM have been engaged in a massive propaganda effort over the past few months to paint the GOP potential field of candidates as weak and no real challenge to The One. They have also been playing Whack-a-Mole with Rep candidates, systematically destroying them as their name emerges. This includes highlighting every gaffe or rumor.
Bottom line: Anyone who believes that Obama is unbeatable in 2012 is a victim of Dem propaganda or has an IQ of a rock.

Thank God most I speak to are awake but there are the rare ones that think Obama is great and is trying to clean up Bush’s mess.
They think that republicans are for the rich and democrats really feel they’re pain.
The republicans are just sitting there letting Obama be above the rule of law while he destroys this country. So they are no better and have their share of corruption and being bought and wasteful spending. I think we need to clean all of them out in voting until they really change. Until then we are screwed.
I tried to imagine what would make me indicate even slight support for someone I despise. I would never do this for someone as horrible as Obama, but I came up with two possibilities.
1) They’ve just done something good but difficult for them (even if forced into it) and I wouldn’t want the poll to indicate people turning away BECAUSE of that act. We all know the ObamaBrotherhoodPress would spin it that way. Also, I would want to reward any turning toward the light.
2) I believe MANY want to show some approval just because “we” elected a black man for the first time. Some do it because they’re afraid to have some unknown, low level worker making calls for the poll think they’re racist.
I would NEVER do the second one but, just for the record, I would gladly and proudly vote for LtCol West or JC Watts and give them my strong support as long as they did what they said they’d do.
I honestly believe that people are screaming, but what media would cover it?
He has partied, golfed and is trying to pass gun laws because of Az. yet does not peep a word about the death threats to republicans in WI. Also: bullies in school and nanny lunches.
NOTHING in his radio address about Japan.Nothing in the news but that he is keeping a low profile. WTF? Now that I say this...his people will write a speech for his teleprompter today and we will all have to get ill watching him mumble...so let him shut up but I want a competent POTUS!

Actually, the Abyss Index is at +1 since his strongly disapprove number is 43%, while the overall approval is at 44%. Still, it is the Kenyan Marxist’s worst showing of the year on Rasmussen!

I do the same thing. I was filling up my pickup last week and sarcastically muttered "Thank you effing dims and obummer for these fuel prices" under my breath. The young lady at the next pump said "Yeah, and I hope everyone of them loses next year".
You can if folks are PO'd enough. Carter, Clinton('92) and Zer0 himself come to mind.
..... and never put it past the GOP to pull defeat from the jaws of victory.
IMO, overcoming that trait is the GOP's biggest challenge.
