I read somewhere that GE produced these Japanese nuke plants.

I believe they made the reactor for unit 1. Units 2 and 3 were another other company, IIRC.

All of these reactors will build by GE, now GE Hitatchi, but many came online during the 70’s. So they are first generation BWR (Boiling Water Reactors.)
