A few days...until they shoot down a bomber or attack one of our ships. Then there will be a half ass recuse attempt{Think Desert One in Iran, circa 1979}
Obama will mircomanage the war with the UN. He will make LBJ seem like Curtis LeMay.

But I also know that Saddam poses no imminent and direct threat to the United States...

Well, he sure doesn't NOW, does he, Barry? MWAHAHAHAHAHA

Good quotes...good demonstration of what a hypocrite Barry is.

Obozo got a green light from the international community, but did he get a resolution from congress? Bush got congressional approval for both Afghanistan and Iraq, if you recall.

,,, Bush also had to kiss the UN's arse with $US14b in back dues before the first shot was fired in Iraq. The UN parasites would have spent some of that in top restaurants all over the world - it's not as easy to be a critic with your mouth full.

I don’t remember the President bringing this to the American people. Only thing I remember is his initial threats to Libya.

Finishing it doesn’t end with killing Qaddafi. You also have to fill the vacuum

And we've yet to know what kind of government will be next door in Egypt.

It just pisses me off and depresses me that 0bama has control over the greatest fighting force the world has ever seen, OUR MILITARY!
But you know what? This IS OUR MILITARY and we should be backing them not making a lot of comments about Obama. It makes FR look one-issue minded and just gives ammunition to the enemy (the libs, not Libya). There are a million things to blast the annoited one for but this isn't one of them. I sincerely hope this Libya intervention is quick, clean and successful. I could care less who the CIC is I want our military to show the world how it is done.

This has to be the most politically correct military action in history and a worrying blueprint for the future.

I have lost track of the amount of time I have heard ‘muslim nations supporting’ ‘arab nations participating’ ‘UN authorised’ ‘completely legal’.....bore off you cretinous incompetent liberals.

A real leader would have taken action ages ago, a real leader with have made targets number 1 Gaddafi and number 2 the lockerbie bomber and said screw the other muslim/arab nations.....this is a pathetic exercise aimed at making some really small men (namely Sarkozy and Cameron) look like Thatcher and Reagan.

I am interested to know when they will be taking China, Russia, Syria, Iran to task......of course they won’t, the hypocritical so and so’s they are....

Whatever the arguments for or against intervention,it is clear that Obama’s decision was based entirely on political considerations. He did not want to intervene, but his advisors were warning him of the optics of having the Libyan rebels and thousands of civilians killed by a madman, while the US sat back and watched the carnage.

Dammit, we needed to stay the hell out of all of this stuff going on in the Mid-East right now. Libya, Yemen, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, etc. etc. STAY OUT.

Yep. And so it begins....*sigh*

"Defense Secretary Robert Gates warned Wednesday that a no-fly zone in Libya may not be the best solution."

And what will happen to those civilians after the government is gone? Another Somalia?

Absolutely amazing stuff at DU. . . hard to comprehend how their thought processes work. Brainwashing early on? Do they know nothing of history? Do they read anything?

It isn’t simply a vacation...Bo is doing business with them and brought the key players with him to do so...basically he brought his “whole” family with him to enjoy the sites...figure that! Had Bush taken his the news would have been all over that.

BUt my grip is he’s going there to enhance business deals which will create jobs for them while he does literally nothing here. But then that’s what globalists do....he is not for our country..just using it to further his own interests as we know.

The news cycle goes round and round with tragedy after tragedy and everyone gets cought up in this fear mongling and that and forgets NWO is their ultimate goal. Why?

The GOP are sitting on their hands. The vote will be split-let’s face it people will write in Palin even if she does not run and other idiots will vote for a Romney and Obama will win and be king and we won’t be able to come on here daily and whine about him.

that’s is what bugs me , well along with him on vacation with the family and Frigging mother in law on our dime.

Bush went to congress and had the votes to go to war.
Obama goes to Rio and declares war and there is no outrage form the left and the media which lets be honest now they are a joke and have been for some time.

Bush goes to congress for war
Obama goes to Rio for war

Oh I don’t know but maybe someone could actually see the difference here and who is the war monger er now
