I'm not convinced he's unelectable. Surely, 20+ years ago he could not get elected, but in today's environment I think he could. Trump says a lot of things that resonate with the common man on the street, beaten down by the last few years of a horrible economy and a faltering democracy. I'll give him one thing, he truly is a patriot and cares about his country. He shoots from the hip, which would probably get him in trouble in a primary, but in this day and age...if someone like Obama could be elected, the old rules are out the window.
I wouldn’t say he’s unelectable. I’d vote him. Matter of fact as of today he’s my choice.
I’m not supporting him, but I’d vote for him over Barry any day.
And I do think he could beat Obama.
Americans seem to be in the mood for someone competent. They took a flier on Barry and it hasn’t gone well.

I agree just wanted to change it up a little...
I’m not convinced she’s unelectable. Surely, 20+ years ago she could not get elected, but in today’s environment I think she could. Palin says a lot of things that resonate with the common people on the street, beaten down by the last few years from a horrible leftist economy and a faltering democracy. I’ll give her one thing, she truly is a patriot and cares about our country. She shoots from the hip, which would probably get her in trouble in a primary, but in this day and age...if someone like Obama could be elected, the old rules are out the window.
That is all...
I totally agree with you that Donald Trump is a patriot and from that perspective I respect him. He puts his own country first and that surely is very attractive. My reservations about him are around his historically being a New York Republican at best, socially liberal and that it will be a hard sell for him in the conservative South. So winning the GOP nomination would be a lot harder than the general election.
Does he try to unify and treat the social conservatives respectfully or does he try to divide and conquer? No question in my mind he could bring a lot of Reagan democrats home but I believe if we don’t get a conservative president next time the Depression will drag on and we could very well have war at home. We will see.
