They were the enemy of Gadaffi and he was struggling to keep them under control. He’s going to struggle even more now that we we’re flying sorties for Al Qaeda.
And people thought he was nuts for negotiating with the Taleban in Afghanistan. Maybe this is what the negotiations were all about.
