New Rules Would Label Millions of American Workers as Disabled
Fox News ^ | March 28, 2011 | Shannon Bream

"Before, perhaps 40 million people were covered by the ADA. That number will increase significantly," McGlothlen told Fox News. "Some people might even say that a majority of Americans are covered as disabled under the law."

Overall, lawyers for employers say the regulations shift the burden of proof in disability claims.

They say that employers will now have to show why a worker doesn't require special accommodations, rather than employees proving that the measures are merited.

Barring congressional intervention, the new regulations will take effect May 24.

Perhaps the better approach is for the EEOC to enact regulations defining who is not disabled. Under the new regulations, fat people are now disabled, even though the condition is almost always self-created. All diabetics are now disabled even though the vast majority of Type II diabetics could mitigate if not eliminate their condition through diet and exercise.

I noticed that many liberal writers seem very certain the logical and proper society that will arise after an apocalyptic event will be feudal;and they consider it good.

It probably will be feudal. But in fuedal societies, the strongest, meanest MFers are on top. They will be nasty, brutish places and they probably won’t like it as much as they imagine they will.

You obviously have a spelling handicap.

That ought to be good for a few hundred a month.

Another hyperegulatory nail in the coffin of American business...

brought to you and me by the Democratic Attorneys Party...dedicated to the bureaucratic perpetually employed few...trying to build careers on fewer and fewer willing subjects.
