Donald Trump has joined the "birthers," the odd movement that questions President Barack Obama's Hawaii birth certificate. That's a good way for the celebrity billionaire to appear as though he's making a serious run for the Republican presidential nomination, which he says he is considering. It also makes him sound like a secret agent for the Democrats.
That oddly credible possibility has been raised by frustrated conservatives like radio talk-show host John Gibson, who sounded furious earlier this week at the way birthers make Republicans look like the crazy party.
That unfortunate image only hurts the party's chances with the sensible independent swing voters it needs to win general elections. Now Trump is bringing even more attention to the birthers. Surely, Gibson speculated, tongue only partly in cheek, Trump sounds like some sort of RINO, a Republican-in-name-only who's secretly trying to help Obama.
Robert Schlesinger, opinion editor at U.S. News and World Report, similarly asked in a blog whether Trump is "really an Obama sleeper agent."
Indeed, if Obama is not directly supporting Trump, he has good reason to root secretly for the birther movement, whose backing Trump seeks....

The “birther” position should be that according to the evidence proffered to date, Obama is not a natural born citizen for the reasons you state. The only way he could be is if he had an American father. The only way to resolve THAT question is by seeing his long-form BC.
In light of all the questions that have been raised about the factual accuracy Dreams from My Father (not to mention its authorship), it has not been established beyond reasonable doubt either that Sr. really was his biological father or that he was born in Hawaii.
Because of the constitutional requirements regarding eligibility for POTUS, American citizens have a RIGHT to know this information. This right supersedes any conceivable right to privacy Obama might have about these matters. To claim otherwise would put Obama above the law. No person, ESPECIALLY the POTUS, is above the law. The question all birthers should ask of skeptics is “why do you believe Obama should be above the law?”
Ok....Hm?....Obama doesn't release his birth certificate and other common documents because his opponents want him to do that. It's a political strategy then. Is that it?

Obama WASTED tax dollars and government resources to send TAX PAID attorneys around the nation to prevent the release of common documents. Obama MISUSED Department of Justice talent at a time when plots were being laid to BLOW UP Times Square, BOMB a Pittsburgh marathon, EXPLODE a plane out of the sky over Detroit, and **KILL** our soldiers on their bases and recruitment centers!

Regardless the question is simple:
Why doesn't he just release his birth certificate?

I have no idea.
However, when the Birthers state as fact that it would have been impossible for Obama to travel to Pakistan in 1981 due to a travel ban, it makes them look like fools.
And that may be the very answer to your question regarding Obama’s refusal to release the BC.

The truth is that even without seeing Obama’s Birth Certificate, Obama is not eligible to be President.
His father was never an American citizen.
The BC could prove that he was also not born in America. It could also prove that there was a lie as to who his real father is.
The obvious is in front of everyone’s face. Surprised Trump doesn’t see that.

Trump only sees angles on how to make a buck... he knows he doesn’t have a chance and he knows we know he has the morals of a slug with bad hair and a liquid tan and won’t vote for him. So, he figures how he can capitalize on a non issue issue and make a couple mil by just spouting about the BC.
The Donald?? Perish the thought. Why, Trump could no more be a stalking horse to draw conservative votes than, say.... Ross Perot!!!
He’s not an Obama secret agent. His ego’s having a wonderful time while he also prepares the ground for a possible Hillary challenge. He’s in the Clinton/Emanuel camp, not at all part of Obama’s team.
Trump is on with Laura Ingraham and he’s on a tear. He said at first he thought Obama was “probably” born in Hawaii but now really has his doubts. Keep going Donald.
