GOP Congressman Pens Letter Asking for Reid's Resignation
Fox News ^ | Apr 15, 2011 | Chad Pergram

Rep. Rick Crawford, a freshman Republican from Arkansas, has drafted a letter calling on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., to resign, citing what he calls Reid's "reckless, partisan strategy of shutting down the government."

"With all due respect, if you do not plan to fulfill your responsibilities as Senate Majority Leader, perhaps it is time to step aside," Crawford writes in the letter.

House Republicans are engaged in a budget battle with Senate Democrats as a government shutdown looms Friday if the two sides can't come together on a long-term spending plan or another continuing resolution to keep the federal government operating.

"Mr. Reid, it is time to stop denying the dire straits of our nation's fiscal health," Crawford writes. "It is time to pass a bill."

Crawford expects at least 90 House Republicans to sign on to the letter.

Reid is too old for this. Nevada should have dumped his stinky ass when they were given the chance back in November. The boy just isn’t right in the head. He should be back in Stoplight, NV, sitting on the porch eating Jello or pudding and waiting for some traffic to go by so he can wave. The fact he’s still in the District of Corruption is the union’s fault. They knew Harry wasn’t “right” anymore and should never have had spent all that money getting his seat back for him.

Where’s Mr. Boehner’s letter to Reid? How about Sally? I mean Lindsey Graham. I’d like to see the leadership on the right start giving some public grief on the Dem party for sticking their socialist heads in the sand and hoping they can just tax us further.

Good for Rick Crawford. I like to see the freshman playing “run and gun” offense. They are intelligent and creative and will run up the score if they continue with this strategy.

"With all due respect, ... perhaps it is time to step aside,"

Good way to put it, given that the amount "due" is zero.

I thought for certain that anybody from our side could beat Hrrrrry Reid in Nevada last November. I was wrong. So, where did we go wrong with our Republican candidate there? It wasn’t like we didn’t know the media would beat up on our candidate. We need some sword swallowers from now on out. Someone who will keep their mouth shut except for when they are eating Hrrry Reid and the media alive.

I don’t know if anyone could have pulled that off, unless it was someone already with statewide reputation that could not be tarnished. Anybody would have run into the buzzsaw of the national media, the deep pockets of the majority leader and the unions. They would have savaged any of the three candidates. Angle actually did really well about 75% of the time. She did very well in their debate. She made some damaging slip ups, and couple at the worst possible times.

But first they should have consulted the Donald;
http://www.opensecrets.org/news/2011/02/donald-trumps-donations-to-democrats.html
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has received the fourth-largest amount of Trump’s contributions, including $4,800 in the successful 2010 campaign against Tea Party favorite Sharron Angle.

From what I heard on the news prior to the election, the DNC sent in 10,000 of their “fixers” from the ‘RAT staff offices in DC? And then there were those commie union thugs draggin’ the illegals off to the polls if they wanted to hold on to their jobs. Our side really never had a chance, IMHO. I don’t think it mattered much who ran for our side. The ‘RATS needed Stinky Reid re-elected to hold their communist agenda together. The commies and Kenyans knew that Pelosi and the House were toast and the only way they could keep their Destruction of America program on track was to make sure Stinky was back at the top of the Senate.

[The boy just isn’t right in the head. ]

I’ve beat Freepers to death with the fact that I wrote the only biography of Harry Reid (click my name). But you hit it right on the head, Reid isn’t right in the head as was evident from everything I researched. What I didn’t put in my book was the probabilty he was abused as a kid and has some weird sex things going on, which might be neither here nor there except I think he has a dual personality because of it.

Touche. You have that right! Something about bringing his gun to our knife fight(McCain).

Maybe the Tea Party needs to be the Sword Swallower, even more en masse. November is still alive and well in this country. Pray for Ryan and like minded types to be given wings of eagles in this battle.

For all you Patrick McManus fans out there.
Stepfather to mother (after the boy cheered on forest fires, I believe): "I don't know, Martha, the boy ain't right. We get us some money, we're gonna get his screws tightened."

So, where did we go wrong with our Republican candidate there?

There were many reports on election day of the machines being rigged for Reid.
