Sounds Heavenly, I have 2 cousins who bugged out of Illinois many years ago and live in Prescott. They love it.
You are so lucky to have Sheriff Joe! Wisconsin weather is the pits. Summer is humid and hot, winter bitterly cold. My horses would like Arizona better too.
Prescott is great. Wife won’t leave Calif. though.
I lived in Chicago from 1969-1988 when I moved out here. My family had been in IL since the 1870s - they were in the Great Fire! None of the descendants live there now. So I hear you about the cold/humidity. My sister in law lives up in the mountains above Prescott - it’s cold in the winter and they get snow, but it’s very nice in the summer.
Intel is opening a new plant in Chandler in a year or two and will have 2,000 new jobs.
