He was in Santa Barbara on KCSB then at a small local college radio station, after leaving there he went to WVVN in Athens, GA for a local radio station and then WGST in Atlanta. He was nowhere near NYC then, unless that small volunteer college radio show was picked up and simulcast on WABC in New York from Santa Barbara, I’m not seeing what you are saying can possibly be accurate.

You're dead wrong!

In 1990s, before he was on in his present slot, he was on WABC/770 at 10:00PM or 11:00PM starting time and it wasn't being plugged in from anywhere but the NYC studio.

I just looked at Wiki ( if that can be trusted ) and they say that he started on WABC at the late night time slot.

On that show ( which wasn't all that political ), he was a completely different person.
