A significant change Thursday in the vote count in a Wisconsin Supreme Court election raised the incumbent into the lead, in a race that some see as a referendum on the state's Republican governor.

Is it possible that some law and order types bambozzled the Libs by purposely undercounting the votes, thereby ‘forcing’ the hand of the radical Left early on?

Now they’re pulling the rug out from under them.

Naw, as Rush said, our side doesn’t evn know how to play that game.

-- Is there an explanation of why the votes were not turned in on the day of the election? --

My understanding is that a county clerk, who totals returns (doesn't count any ballots) forgot to "total" the numbers after adding in results for Brookfield, so reported to the AP, one town with zero votes cast. AP took that as a final result for the entire county, and reported it as a final result for the entire county.

The clerk's report to the state is accurate, and includes the votes from Brookfield.

-- Was it in a Dem controlled area? --

No. The county clerk is a GOP partisan, and Brookfield went 11:4 in favor of Prosser.

Thanks for the explanation.

I can see how that type of error could occur. I just dont trust Dems (Commies all lie).

I went trolling the DUmp hoping to find some exploded-head fragments, but they were calmer than I expected. Probably self-medicated. Those who were commenting are convinced the Waukesha County Clerk will be going to Jail for “fraud” even though the Democrat party official verified the new totals.

I did learn that “Republicans control 90% of the newsmedia industry”....I did not know that ;-)

The revised numbers gave Prosser a boost of more than 7,000 votes.

Well, thanks for playing old hippie chick. Vanna has some lovely parting gifts for you. Don Pardo, tell her what she's won...

As someone said in a previous thread, the last one to count the votes wins...maybe our friend held this back to keep Dems from stealing votes, or at least from stealing enough.

A delay in reporting is not cheating, it just makes it difficult for others to cheat.

Here there wasn't a "local" error in reporting either. Anybody who was on scene, and noticed that the Brookfield line showed -o- votes cast, could call the Brookfield election officers and get that total.

Granted, the county clerk screwed up - she had the number, but omitted it from the spreadsheet she handed out. Still AP should have noted the -0- line. And the cheaters, who have more on the line, could have too.

I don't think the clerk did this on purpose - too many ways the "effort" can be defeated, with natural observations (what's up with NO votes in a city of 40,000?), followed up by a specific inquiry.

On Wednesday, two liberal groups, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Democracy for America, announced they planned to pour another $125,000 into ads supporting recall drives against eight Republican state senators who backed Gov. Scott Walker’s bill.”

Why because these people are doing legitimate jobs instead of prancing around the country on the taxpayers dime?

roper dope. Let the dems stuff the boxes in other precincts while not knowing the good guys had 7500 legitimate votes in the desk drawer. The dems cheated their way to a 250 vote win, errrrrrr 7500 vote loss. Brilliant!...red
