Kloppenburg's campaign is working with Marc Elias, an attorney with Perkins Coie, a Washington D.C.-based firm with an office in downtown Madison. Elias is the same attorney who represented Democratic challenger Al Franken in his eight-month epic recount battle with incumbent Republican Norm Coleman. Franken eventually prevailed, winning his U.S. Senate seat by 312 votes.

Prosser has hired Ben Ginsberg, a Washington-D.C. attorney who played a prominent role in the 2000 Bush-Gore presidential recount effort in Florida. He was also part of the team that represented Coleman in his recount effort. Prosser has also retained Madison attorney Jim Troupis, and Dan Kelly, who is based in Milwaukee.

“I believe while an automatic recount is now negated, Klop can fund her own recount. The question is what sources of funding are allowed.”

The unions are bankrolling this entire thing. The lawyers, cost of a possible recount, everything else. They will go for broke on this because defeat for them is the end of the unlimited gravy train.

Re #7 and the Secy of State of Minnesota on the side of the Democrats and Al Franken.

Mark Ritchie was identified in several articles as a close friend of the Minnesota Communist Party based on a Party document found by investigative journalist/blogger Trevor Loudon of New Zealand.

This information on Ritchie, including his longstanding socialist history, can be found at:

They are already at it.

This afternoon, Kloppenburg had a small army of people going over the voter lists and the vote tallies in room 115 of the courthouse.

As they Kloppenburg people were inside going over the votes, there was a group of SEIU protestors outside, calling for Nickolaus to resign and for Prosser to step aside.

The SEIU is sending out blatantly false press releases claiming Nickolaus “found” new ballots on her personal computer.

You can bet that there are trunk loads of newly cast ballots heading to Madison from Chicago this very minute. Madison will find out they not only have more voting machines than what they started with but they will have more votes than citizens. This can be attributed to the Unions and Demonrats who will do whatever it takes to steal an election.

Unions are just a front for Iran, Hamas and any other group that is actively working to destroy this country.

You say she messed up big time - others of us feel she outsmarted the libs. I guess most of us will never know for certain. Either way, we’re all satisfied with the results.

Nonsense! 0 votes from Brookfield were reported. She screwewd up big time and no conservatives in Wisconsin consider her a hero. Think what you like but you're wrong.

I know conservatives from Wisconsin - as I said there are two lines of thinking on this one. You have one - some people have another. Nuff said.

It ain't over til it's over.

Wisconsin (Supreme) court race won't be certified without vote probe.

The Dem-controlled Dept of State will stretch this out until they can figure something out.

The republicans who are observing the vote count should have a monitor with Kloppencritters victory speech running:

Oh gosh, I can't get enough of that.
