Yep.
Caro’s biography was magnificent, wasn’t it?
Johnson even reveled in, and laughed at “Landslide Lyndon”.
I expect any POTUS to be a dirty fightin’, lying, nasty, backstabbing son of a bitch, at least when they need to be. When your ‘peers’ are the thugs who head most of the nations of the world (the occasional exception of those like Dame Thatcher), and in the case of Putin very bright and focused thugs, then it is no place for nice guys.
The Romans didn’t really care if Caesar was less ‘legitimate’ than Pompey, the fact is Caesar *won*, Pompey lost. Regardless of WNERE Obama was born the fact is McCain got outspent, out stolen, out lied and outfought. I don’t expect ‘morality’ from my elected officials any more than I expect daintiness from a linebacker or gentleness and sportsmanship from a SEAL on a mission. I just wish we could find a conservative who could fight to win (cough, Palin, cough) and worry what anyone thought *after* the concession speech of the opponent :-) It’s too late to bitch about a thrown elbow after the winner of the final four is announced, it’s too late to speculate about the existence, or lack thereof, of a birth certificate after the Electoral College signs off. I mean even Republicans thing Boner is a crybaby, Mitt looks like he came from, and belongs on an episode of ‘Sex and the City’......
The agency overseeing Wisconsin elections will not certify results of Tuesdays state Supreme Court race until it concludes a probe into how a county clerk misplaced and then found some 14,000 votes that upended the contest. Under Wisconsin law, county clerks have until next Friday, April 15, to complete the canvass and report the results to the GAB.[snip]
Once results from all 72 counties are in, a three-day period begins for candidates to request a recount.
If there are no delays connected to a recount, the boards deadline for certifying the results is May 15.
When they thought they were ahead, they were making victory speeches and demanding Prosser concede “for the good of the state.”
Now that they are behind, they'll burn the state to the ground before they follow the TRUE will of the voters.
This ‘rat ugliness should be broadcast across the state. Make sure the REAL Wisconsinites know what hatred the smelly Madison crowd has for them and their rights.
Use this ugliness to get a few Democrat senators recalled, then they can flee all they want, and no one will give a hoot.
