...That is called collegiality, and the purpose is to avoid fistfights and beatings on the floor of congress, as there used to be. It is even more important when you spend 10 months of the year working together, as opposed to a couple of months every two years, as in pre-Civil War days....
I suggest we drop the congeniality and the 10 months a year working and go back to 2 months with commensurate pay and regular beatings. Its either that or Civil War.
