He's not in it to win.

He's in it to bring down Barry.

Once he's done that, he withdraws and goes back to running his empire.

I wouldn’t worry about it. Trump is a joke and going nowhere. But he’s a useful idiot on the birther issue.

“However, I think Palin can hold her own against the likes of the Donald.”

I think intellectually she can beat him, and even common sense wise... (after all, she graduated from the same university that both of my kids did) However she needs to separate herself from the rest of the pack.

Palin needs to go for the jugular. (regarding Obama) The conservatives need to smell blood in the water to get fired up. Trump has very cleverly done this...

The polls done in New Hampshire and nationally by the Wall Street Journal show a vote split that puts Trump in second place among GOP candidates with Mitt Romney first.

Looks like Trump sucks the lifeblood out of conservative candidates taking enough of the vote to put Mitt Romney in the lead.

Romney will be the GOP nominee.

Is that the result we want???? Trump splitting the vote to allow a Mitt Romney win.

At first I would say “NO WAY”. But I have to admit that he is at least saying the right things. he is Against abortion, Gay marriage, Gay benefits. You take Sara Palin. She is all touchy feely for gays. And where is she on the Birth issue.

I have to admit that Trump is growing on me, But what bothers me is that he is so quick to call himself great. That is kind of arrogant. I don’t know if the guy could ever be humble.

When you’re dealing with Hu and Putin, I think arrogance might just be a good thing.

I’m not sure that our president ever should...

“Trumped into a RINO nominee by vote splitting a path for Mitt Romney.”

Trump will kick Romney’s ass...

Battle of the blow-dried RINOs. No one wins. we all lose. I can't believe anyone would actually take Donald Trump seriously. This is our country not some Las Vegas hotel.

Actually, the pendulum may be ready to swing back to a manly man. McCain was a wimp. Obama is flaming metrosexual. Trump stands in stark contrast to either of these two. He’s arguably much more assertive than Bush and IFP Clinton combined.

"Do you really want this man as your next president? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "

No- I do not, however, I DO want this subject (The BC) discussed by ALL Pubbie candidates. I have hope that this will happen to some extent, now. I'm also intrigued by his solution in Iraq: take the damn oil, to the extent of our expenditure there, INCLUDING compensation to our disabled veterans, and give the Iraqis the remainder, if any. Sounds right to me.

I have no problem with any of those positions. In fact those positions are to the right of just about any other of the current potential candidates.

That’s not how I look at it. I don’t look at Romney as a “loser”. That is what bothers me. He could actually win. He can BS almost as good as Clinton. Heck I’d probably find myself buying a used car from him — he’s that good. We don’t need a blow-dried RINO.

I will give this to Trump - we need someone fearless like him. But that’s not enough for me. I could never support Donald Trump.

Absolutely I'll vote for him & so will my entire family! He has more cajones than the entire republican party in Washington!

He's smart, he knows business, he knows how to fix this economy & it is NOT about the birth certificate, I've listened to him in interviews, he knows what he's talking about. (unlike Bozo & Reid & Pelosi)!!

I don’t believe that the Donald has a chance, but, if by some miracle he gets the Republican nomination, I will not vote. Let the chips fall were the may.

That's what happened in 2008 when people stayed home & refused to vote for McCain. Look where we are now!! If Zero wins again, we'll all be wearing burkas!
