Do you think? Is [Trump] that malleable?

I'm not saying he's "malleable". I'm saying that it isn't clear which master Trump is serving: his own ambition...or somebody else's.

Trump was a long-term supporter of the Clintons. He supported Hillary for the Democrat nomination in 2008.

He is only lately come to say the right words about conservative issues. It was not so long ago that he was pro-choice, pro-gun control, pro-national healthcare.

Now, he presents himself as an avid conservative...and wins conservative hearts by publicly attacking Obama on the subject of his eligibility. Note, that this is an act that might equally serve two factions -- Republicans...and Hillary.

And, then, Trump announces that, if he doesn't win the Republican nomination, he will run as an Independent.

Wouldn't that pretty much insure the election of the Democrat nominee? Whoever she is? Indeed, where have we seen this scenario before...???

I am, for one, very suspicious of Trump's motives.
