Palin back with a bang: Sarah eyeing Republican nomination
The Vancouver Province / Reuters ^ | April 17, 2011 | Nick Carey

Conservative Sarah Palin returned to the U.S. political arena on Saturday after several months absence with a feisty speech attacking both the establishment Republican Party and Democratic President Barack Obama and proclaiming "the 2012 elections begin here."

In a move apparently aimed at keeping her name in the running for the Republican nomination in next year's presidential election, Palin addressed several thousand people in Wisconsin, a state bitterly divided by a political fight over union rights.

Palin has been mostly absent from politics since the January shooting of U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords in Arizona, when she was criticized for accusing opponents of manufacturing a "blood libel" against her.

As snow and sleet fell on Madison's main square, Palin attacked the budget compromise between Republicans and Obama on cuts of around $38 billion instead of $100 billion promised in elections last November.

"That is not courage, that is capitulation," she said...

Not going to run, not going to run, bet on it, but I would like to hear her thoughts on bombing any country that pisses you off.

Should she be elected as President, do you think that she will quit in the middle of her term as she did when Governor?

Still beating that dead horse huh? Anyone who asks this question today has sh** for brains and is too stupid to understand anything of value.

‘I like Sarah. I hope she will re-think her establishment support of “free trade”’

Nothing wrong with free trade, if it’s fair trade. We buy from them; they buy from us. But I’d like to lose the evil dictator and communist countries.

Free trade for FREE countries only!

China is defeating America. We are helping them do so. We are in fact, surrendering.

You want to win the battle by changing the rules. Good if you can do it.. but trade barriers just cheat people and tax them. Devaluing the currency just supports inefficiency and cheats people and takes their property away. No means other than actually doing something better works in the long run. Try to get this trough your noodle.

Win the battle, not with Trade barriers, Go out and make cheaper doilies. But, how are you going to do this if you can afford to hire people, get resources and build a business? The problem is here. It is toxic and intensionally so. If we are losing to China it is because the Maoists here want it that way.

There's a difference between free trade and fair trade. Try importing a vehicle into Japan or, better yet, South Korea. It will cost you about a grand and take a month in Japan and is virtually impossible in South Korea.

Do you want some cheese with that whine? What is the Korean car market? Does an American Car manufacturer make a car that can compete in this market with the shipping cost added to get it there???? Pay attention to the prize. The Japanese have shipped their plants to America and are just shipping money back. However, if we make it impossible to spend that money or run plants here.. guess what? Bye bye Japanese cars. Now you might think that is good. But, if this is achieved simply by taxing and making it difficult to make Japanese cars in America, then you just get what happened to GM. Killed by internal rot and stolen from the owners by the Maoists.

Who will invest in the next GM when the Maoists can steal it all from the Owners and the Bond Holders. This was the most damaging event in the history of Capital in America and it is only the fact that Ford is laughing all of the way to the bank because the American people hate this that has provided a check to Capital fleeing the US completely. GM went with its hand out for the intervention that destroyed it, because it had hoped that it could get "bailed out." In that Corporations no longer serve the vast majority of their owners or bond holders who have little say in corporate governance, our system is what is deeply flawed.

But, Americans are an innovative and resilient bunch of folks, perhaps more so in the past, but still. Rather than blood in the streets, we prefer revolution by idea and example and the rule of law. We have the freedom to replace all in our government in the space of 6 years with the exception of the Supreme Court and even this, is subject to the ability to impeach and remove those who go outside the bounds of the law as defined by the judgement of the Congress.

No other society has ever had a means for orderly revolution when ever the people deemed it necessary. But, it requires us to find a backbone and keep our eyes on the prize. It isn't the problem of the Chinese or the Japanese that we need to solve. We found the enemy and they is us. We have to solve our own and this will balance the books.

Remember the most devastating import to our freedom is not potato peelers, but foreign Oil. It is our freedom being poured out by the bucket, this is why BO is cheering as Soros profits from new Brazilian Oil drilling all in service of our destruction.

It seems you need to dig deeper than resenting folks who make things and sell them for a price.

The woman-loving Hillary lost b/c of overconfidence. She underestimated the power of caucuses, and she had no organization set up in later primary states. She is every bit the vicious anti-Semitic Marxist that the Punk is. Bob

I was very specific on what issues I was referring. Go back and re-read my post and then come back and refute it. I will be glad to be wrong.

That’s the problem. The cult of free traders don’t believe in “fair trade”. As soon as you argue for that, they accuse you of being a protectionist.

Sounds like you're a Democrat; using vindictive rather than a logical response.

No, I sound like a conservative who realizes some things are self evident. If you refuse to believe that Sarah resigned for some very good reasons that will never crop up if she is elected President, then your brain is simply gone. No need to use logic on you since you have already failed a simple logic test by failing to understand why Sarah resigned.

Pointing the logic out to you again would be a waste of time since you are obviously too stupid to figure out the truth.
