I have heard for a couple of years that women in UK in certain areas have taken to wearing headscarfs so they would not be harrassed on the streets by Muslim men.
And there is no recourse.

Stickers have been plastered on public walls stating: 'Gay free zone. Verily Allah is severe in punishment'. It was only a couple of years ago that I recall Eueopeans smugly clucking about ignorant, bigoted Americans after the passage of Prop 8 in California. Those poor dumb Americans, if only they were as open-minded and sophisticated as we Europeans. Okey-doke. Good luck with that.
