I’m primarily a Herman Cain supporter, actually.
I’m still hoping he gains steam. Until then I’m enjoying The Donald’s presence.
Many large businesspeople DO donate to both parties - look at newsmeat.com, it’s all out there, not just Trump, and usually has to do with keeping a target off their backs. A sad commentary on the relationship between business and politics, unfortunately. Pay to play.
Herman Cain is an exception to that though - I looked.
I love Herman Cain, too, but he's not going anywhere. He'd already have to be a household name to have any kind of chance at the nomination.
He tried to run for Congress a few years back and failed to win election. Now he wants to try for the big house.
Personally, I think that's illogical, but it's his life, and he's as free as any other constitutionally qualified American to run for that office.
