Arte Johnson has as much of a chance of winning. Do these people run just to be able to say that they ran for POTUS, or is there a net profit at the end of the process for these guys?
Couple of thoughts...obviously gives them publicity, and media access. Could be for another run..Senate, governor..I’ve long said that Santorum is really running for the Senate..he can beat Casey this time..another possibility..if they drop out early on, and endorse the winner, and do some campaigning fro him/her..could be positioning for a cabinet post or a nice embassy, or some other cushy DC job..
