NOBODY DOES IT BETTER WHEN IT COMES TO DIVIDING AMERICA
The Rat has written recently of the lefts ongoing effort to indoctrinate the youth of America. While its a noble effort to be sure, its effectiveness pales in comparison to that of the other two strategies in the liberals three-pronged attack on America: Class warfare and a co-opted press.
Liberal Americans particularly their political leaders and sock puppets in the media - have taken class warfare to a level previously unseen by mankind. While we may be tempted to simply dismiss these people as sniveling sore losers who whine and lash out whenever they dont get their way, (although that does about sum it up) a closer look reveals the genius that is the tormented mind of the left-wing loon.
Yes folks, liberals have turned class warfare in America into an art form that requires a disciplined set of skills that only they have been able to master. There are basic concepts that every liberal must learn, and hone to perfection if he or she is to become a master in the craft of pitting one group of Americans against another. When its executed flawlessly, its an awe-inspiring sight to behold.
Although the Rat cant carry a liberal wing-nuts class-warfare jockstrap, he can provide a Cliff Notes overview of the six steps of the process youll need to master to be effective:
Step 1: Identify the class(es) you plan to represent.
This doesnt mean that you actually have to care about these people in the least, understand their needs, or share their values. Hell, you dont even have to want for yourself those things you pretend to want for them. Youll find that the less informed your class(es) is (are), the easier it will be to sell them your line of crap. Its also very effective to choose groups that conservatives must be careful not to offend, such as blacks, Hispanics, gays, and other minorities. The more of these minorities you can pretend to care about at one time, the more effective youll be.
Step 2: Identify the person, people, group(s) or thing(s) you plan to turn your class(es) against.
The best target of course, is someone or something that the class youre patronizing already hates. If in doubt, rich people, Christians, corporations and the Republican Party will usually work just fine. Its extra effective if you accuse one of these groups of unfairly (illegally is even better) supporting the other, such as Republican lawmakers shilling for large corporations or looking out for the interests of their rich friends at the expense of your class(es). Of course, you can attack Christianity in and of itself -just because its there. For extra effect, accuse it of bigotry against the real peaceful religions of the world.
Step 3: Develop easy-to-remember buzz phrases that even stupid people can misunderstand and memorize.
This step is a basic tenet of class warfare. Think about it: When members of your class(es) are attempting to memorize your talking points, it helps if theyre short and simple. Short phrases work better on hateful signs too. Compound buzz phrases, which incorporate two or more people or concepts are always the most effective. Bushs tax cuts for the rich is a perfect example; we have Bush and the rich, who everyone already hates, coupled with tax cuts for someone other that the people youre lying to. Practice creating some pathetic buzz phrases of your own.
Step 4: Pretend that the other class is attacking you, your chosen class(es) or something your class has or wants.
This is an extremely important step, particularly when youve bet your ass on something that didnt work, and you desperately need to find someone else to blame it on. (Obamas stimulus plan for example) As is the case with compound buzz phrases, its best if you can incorporate several people and or issues into your message. Its very effective if you can identify the thing(s) that the evil class wants to take away from the class(es) youre patronizing. (Social Security, or free healthcare as an example.) Its even more effective if you can accuse the other side of racism when they say anything negative about your leader or his socialist programs. (It doesnt matter that racism is not behind what is being said, your lapdogs in the media will have your back and theyll accuse the guilty party of racism too.)
Step 5: Make sure your sock puppets in the media parrot your buzz phrases, attack conservatives every chance they get, and distort or outright lie about the facts whenever possible.
This is the easiest step of them all. Not only will the left-wing loons in the mainstream media blindly and belligerently line up like lemmings to support or defend everything you say and stand for, (including your lies and distortions) theyve had decades of practice and theyre good at it. Whether its lying or distorting against your opponents, or for you, these eager beavers are at your beck and call.
Step 6: If you find yourself in trouble, flip-flop on the issue(s) and deny, revise, or justify your previous position(s) by blaming it on George Bush.
Take for example, Obamas original positions on Gitmo, military tribunals, gay marriage, raising the debt ceiling, presidential signage oops, sorry, Rat got lost in the moment. Similar to the strategy utilized in step 2, the most effective method here is to link your original position to someone the class(es) youre manipulating hates more than Satan himself: George Bush. (Although most liberals think theyre one in the same) Tell your group(s) that you only wanted to close Gitmo when it was Bushs decision to leave it open. Or that you were only against presidential signage or raising the debt ceiling when Bush was for it. Your group(s) will buy whatever ridiculous explanation you give them; hook, line, and sinker. Although most members of the OMG will know youre a hypocrite, theyll pretend to buy it too. In fact, theyll actually defend every one of your flip-flops, no matter how blatant and hysterical they may be. Cool, huh?
So there you have it. As Rat said at the top, this is merely an overview of the complex art of left-wing class warfare. He considered the typical these are trained professionals, do not attempt these tricks at home disclaimer, but decided against it. Shouldnt we all be in on the joke?

If you can't appreciate the pure beauty of the violin after hearing this, something's wrong with your ears.
I read statistics where CEO’s and senior management of large corporations, years ago made about 9 times what the line employees made...In today’s America, it’s now something like 10,000 times what they make.
But I guess that shouldn’t be discussed.
My senior management makes at least 20 times what I do. They find the market and sell it. I help produce it. It beats mowing lawns.
That’s because the left depends on exploiting that topic.
What is it you produce?
Is it not conservative to be outraged when bloated government employees in their secured government unionized positions, are given tax paid lucrative salaries, tax paid top shelf medical benefits and tax paid lottery style government retirement pensions?
Do you really think that Henry Ford only made $45 a day?
Try again.

If I have to dig up link for you I will.
It’s pretty much a known fact that CEO’s of large companies make *many* times what the employees make, in *comparison* to what the difference was many years ago.
Is it not conservative to be outraged when bloated government employees in their secured government unionized positions, are given tax paid lucrative salaries, tax paid top shelf medical benefits and tax paid lottery style government retirement pensions?
And yes, I would like a reference for the 9x claim. I'm curious where that comes from, because most of the major capitalist CEOs I can remember from history from before the Civil war make thousands of times what line folks made. It gets worse when you go back to the times of serfdom.

According to Business Week, the average CEO of a major corporation made 42 times the average hourly worker’s pay in 1980. By 1990 that had almost doubled to 85 times. In 2000, the average CEO salary reached an unbelievable 531 times that of the average hourly worker.

Do you believe that government has a place in deciding what CEOs should be paid in relation to hourly workers? Or do you believe that the market will smack down over-reaching CEOs (and they do exist) without government intervention?
/johnny
No, the government has no place, and is not the issue from my point of view.
My point is how does the average CEO of a major corp made 42 times the average hourly workers pay in 1980, and by 1990 it doubled to 85 times, in 2000, the average CEO salary reached an unbelievable 531 times that of the average hourly worker. And today, that number is likely over a 1000 times more than the average worker.
Does this seem a little odd to you?
If a company makes more money for the investors and they pay the CEO 1000 x more than the average worker, no skin off my nose, not my business.
I don't get into envy. It's a sin.

I think the issue is the average CEO of a major corp made 42 times the average hourly workers pay in 1980, and by 2000, the average CEO salary reached an unbelievable 531 times that of the average hourly worker, and today, that number is likely over a 1000 times more than the average worker.
This begs the question: If profits are up so high and the CEO's compensation went up that much, what the hell happened to the average workers pay? Why did their pay increase so little in comparison? In fact, for the past decade, pay for the average worker has been totally stagnant.
How's that work?
Why do you believe that the difference occured? Do you have a problem with the difference in increase? And what do you believe should be done?
/johnny
So if your a worker at that company, and the profits go up so much the CEO starts earning 1000 times more than you, and you get no raise to speak of, it's none of your business? No skin off your nose?
You see no issues here?
The CEO will keep or lose his job based on the market, just like I will.
