While I have not a serious search, Wikipedia inidcates, both Jindal’s and Rubio’s parents were naturalized citizens at the times of their births, which was in the geographic limits of the USA.
What does NBC take 3 generations or something?
I am certain that Wiki is WRONG. Not a surprise...we all know it is totally liberal.
Numerous people in Florida have prevailed on Rubio to produce the naturalization papers. He doesn’t do it for US, his constituents, so why should I think Wiki would know any better?
I am certain that I’ve seen a direct quote from Jindal that his folks were Indian citizens until he was at least a toddler.
I HOPE that Marco is legit. I was one of the first people in the Tampa area who pushed him to run against Crist for the Senate. But the presidency is another matter. If he can verify he is a NBC-—FANTASTIC! But enough messing around, already. We’ve had enough of that with Obama. Marco should fish or cut bait.
Jindal? He could prove his people came over on the Mayflower and that he was born in Preservation Hall and it wouldn’t matter. He is just too nerdy. But if he was misquoted about his people, he can easily set the record straight with the docs.
I thought Jindal’s parents were both here on a student visa when he was born?
Bobby Jindal’s parents were here four months, on student visas, when Bobby was born. If they naturalized, it was after his birth.
Gov.Jindal has said he will sign the LA state bill requiring candidates for President and V. President.
I don’t see any mention of naturalization of anyone in either the Jindal or Rubio article.
