PDS Tornado watch just issued for Northern Mississippi:
http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/watch/ww0232.html
Terrible. prayers for all..
I have been through one a few years ago - no warning what so ever. They move so fast and debris flies so fast it is almost impossible to find shelter!
“I was in Cincinnati and those tornadoes that day were terrifying.”
My very first Civil Air Patrol mission at 13 yrs old was the Monticello tornado. Immediately after the Shelby County Tornado took part of the roof off of my own house.
Some places are getting thier 2nd tornados of the day, on almost the same track as the first.
I wonder from where. I lost a little debris in the Chattanooga area this morning.
Weather Channel: Walker County, Ga.-30 Homes completely destroyed, many more damaged.
Speaking of ‘Nooga, half of Hamilton County, TN, is under a tornado warning again. Heavy cell just south of the TN/GA border, moving northeast.
Confirmed on the ground...about to cross the line into Floyd and Polk co GA.
This sounds bad. Streaming news from there

Numerous fatalities the guy on the TV station just said in one area
Rome, GA has to keep an eye on the same supercell that hit Birmingham.
Good to see it chose to leave you be.
Reports from North B’ham, looks like the worst was Pleasant Grove with numerous (unconfirmed) fatalities per ABC 33/40. Prayers up.
Does anyone have details on which areas in Birmingham were hit. Out eldest is at work holding down the fort in the Huntsville/Decatur area, and while he says they are ok for now, (after 3 Tornadoes passed through), they have people with family in Birmingham, and they would appreciate some information : /
May God watch over them all.

Walker county’s just south of Chattanooga. Lafayette, GA, Rock Spring, GA. Ft. Olgethorpe is, I think, in the next county to the east but it’s getting hit now by the big cell. What a mess!

Per twiiter, Pratt City, Pleasant Grove, North Birmingham.
Be safe..we are on the other side of Atlanta, and praying for these storms to weaken. God protect all in the path of these storms, and bring quick relief to those already hit.
Thank you : /
May God watch over all.
