I suspect you are right in that respect. I do ,however, share and enjoy my family and friends and we do dialogue about our positions in most every areas... often trying to persuade the others...and we do care what the other thinks and I them. Clearly you come from a more distant family.
There is a large contingent of military who participated in this. The president, his advisors and the joint chiefs of staff watched and had the audio...the military risked their lives..do you think for one moment...they would let this story stand if it was not true? Not in a million years. Not a soldier. Not gonna happen. And yes, those seals would slap the tar out of him..yep...they would be pleased to do it.
oh my goodness no. There is nothing distant about my large, loving family..so many generations. There is a mutual respect along with all of that love through these many years. Many of us disagree. But never would we argue or try to convince anyone they were wrong. Unless as I said, that opinion was somehow based on ignorance or rhetoric. But I am also blessed with a family who would not take part in rhetoric. Oh ok fine..we have that one. Fine. Don’t we all? The rest of us just roll our eyes. We love her . She is ours.
Please do not think I am implying that I am “rolling my eyes” at you. I certainly am not. Your posts sound nothing like my beloved family member. I hear wisdom in your posts. But, alas, not much in anything she says...time will improve that I am sure.
