I believe that Bush is a man of faith and I think that he was probably praying during those 10 minutes; praying to God for courage and wisdom. I know I would be.

Yeah, good point. Every decision is a hard one for him. Not to be vulgar, but I think even when to use the john is a hard decision for him.

9.5 years too late.

You're correct but with this crowd, better late than never.

He probably would have said to his aides, “Hey, guys, tell me about it later! I’m late for my morning round of golf!”

Or, "Let me sleep on it."

"But I was clueless. I was just seven. I'm just glad he didn't get up and leave because then I would have been more scared and confused." Chantal Guerrero, 16, agrees: she's grateful that Bush regained his composure and stayed with the students until The Pet Goat was finished."

NOW will Michael Moore and all the libs shut up about President Bush not leaving immediately?
Of course they won't. Even with the recollections of the kids who were actually there saying that would have been the worst thing he could have done, for them, anyway.

My thanks also. The best 'Dead Bin Laden/911' story I've read lately. I was also surprised that this was in Time. Maybe it's not to late for Time.
