Pakistan is saying that not only was OBL not armed, but that there was no fire fight at all. This was an assassination, pure and simple (which I am fine with), but it is amusing watching the Obama administration spin and obfuscate. Obama knows that killing OBL gains him nothing with his basem abd he should have given credit where credit is due rather than hogging it all for himself if he planned to get a bump from the right. Obama is an embarassment.
Supposedly a 40 minute fire fight? Or is it 40 minutes total for the entire op? This is still unanswered. If it was a long fire fight, there would be a LOT of brass on the ground. I didn’t see one spent casing from the footage of the “compound” I doubt the SEALS had time to police their brass and collect the computers, flash drives, and dead terrorist. So, how much resistance was there and how long did the fire fight really last?
I’m fine with an assassination too, if that is what occurred.
I’ve no idea what to believe at this point, only what not to believe, and that is anything Obama says.
