Police at Louisiana State University are searching for a student who they say burned the American flag at the campus' historic War Memorial hours after news of Usama bin Ladens killing.
University police say they recovered a stolen vehicle that was used by Isaac Eslava during the brazen early-morning act at the Baton Rouge campus. An LSU flag, drug paraphernalia and clothing belonging to the suspect were also discovered inside the vehicle, police said in a statement.
Were exploring all options, Sgt. Blake Tabor, from the LSU police, said. We have detectives working around the clock.
Police did not identify a motive but called the event very coincidental that it took place soon after bin Ladens death.
The 10-by-15 flag flies atop a 102-foot pole 24 hours a day at the campus and honors all the war dead from LSU. Police say there was about $7,530 worth of damage at the memorial.

Suspend from his underwear atop the 102 ft pole.....he is a real POS
Pure speculation, but with that name and behavior, sounds more like a drugged out leftie than a Muslim.
“Suspend from his underwear atop the 102 ft pole.....he is a real POS”
What underwear?
OOPS flying fingers....suspend the student via his underwear from the top of the 102 foot flag pole.......
“....drug paraphernalia...found inside the car..”
Sounds like a Ron Paul supporter.
hey dummy, burn YOUR own dang flag
What is sad is that half of the faculty of the University support the animal.

Or a Paultard.
well, the “drugged out” part, anyways.
I feel sorry for the cop who had to touch the clothing.
Clearly an upstanding citizen. /s
Given the LSU alumni I’ve known, if I was this guy I’d skip town pronto.
I believe in Free Speech. Anyone in this Country can burn the Flag if these choose to. Of course, if anyone does it in my presence, burning the Flag will be the least of their problems.
But hey, that’s just me...
What is it, a goat licking his ear?
Or worse?
