I agree with your analysis. Cain’s problem is he lost his only race for the Senate. Santorum’s problem is he’s a senator.Santorum is a former senator and he lost his last race by 18 points.

Santorum endorsed Arlen Specter against the most excellent conservative, Pat Toomey. He alienated a lot of Republicans who were his supporters. He has pretty much buried his chances in Pa.
