While I generally agree with the decision not to permit Bin Laden’s burial place to become a memorial shrine which could be visited by his radical adherents, I do question the decision to accord him an “appropriate” Islamic funeral service before his remains were buried at sea. There were better alternatives. According to an apocryphal story, General John J. Pershing, dealt more harshly with hostile Muslims. During an insurrection in the Philippines, “Black Jack” was tasked with the job of pacifying the Moro Province, a stronghold of Muslim rebels. As a means of suppressing the rebels, captured guerilla terrorists, subject to execution by military firing squads, were ordered to dig their own graves which were then filled with pig entrails. The condemned men were therefore subjected to damnation in this world and the next due to their being exposed to ritual impurity when interred with the pig offal. Another, simpler variation of the same story had Pershing instructing American troops to daub their bullets with pig blood. The mere threat of contamination described by this anecdote was sufficient to persuade some of the hostiles to abandon active opposition.

Bin Laden should not have been accorded a “proper” burial. Evil does not deserve such treatment. Wrap him in pig entrails, etc and dump him. Bacon is too fine to be wasted on this creature.

I like your idea, but I’ll take it step further. Hogs that have gone feral are very dangerous and will kill and eat you. I think his body should have been tossed to such hogs; the thought of that murderous creep eventually emerging as swine feces from a hog’s butt-hole is quite fitting.

In modern times, a quasi-native of Carthage, Tenn., has tried to cause the world a lot of trouble, but fortunately hasn't been very effective to date.

Everybody in Chicago is supposed to pile on Blagojevich, who deserves everything that he has coming to him, but we are supposed to ignore the fact that Obama and his gang were also up to their eyeballs in similar scams involving Tony Rezko.

Jarrett lost out on a big opportunity when Chicago lost its bid for the 2016 Olympic Games as her real estate holdings were going to be purchased for the site of the Olympic village.

Jarrett was instrumental in getting Michelle Obama placed in several high paying government positions with the City of Chicago and big jobs with not for profits elsewhere in the City. Michelle was the principal income producer since Barry never had a full-time job (to repeat a quote attributed to Jarrett) before he went to Washington.

Jarrett’s former father-in-law was a newspaper op-ed writer who specialized in promoting “racial pride” among blacks and blaming whitey.

Another alterative, more fitting for contemporary norms, would have been to bury bin Laden on land in a place where his visitors could be easily watched. It's the same logic as undercover drug cops opening up and working at a head shop. Makes the 'successors' easier to find.

Bin Laden, with malice aforethought, placed his head in the path of an American bullet. The American Soldier was merely firing a shot to scare away some pigeons. Bin Laden’s estate owes the United States for the price of one cartridge.
