Gov. Bobby Jindal arrived in the United States in utero, his mother about three months pregnant. jindal-birth-certificate.jpgView full sizeGov. Bobby Jindal's birth certificate

As he wrote last year in his book, "Leadership and Crisis," his mother had been offered a scholarship in 1970 to complete a graduate degree in nuclear physics at LSU.

When she informed the university that she couldn't accept the scholarship because she was pregnant, "LSU wrote back and promised her a month off for childbirth if she changed her mind. LSU was so accommodating, and the opportunity to come to America so thrilling, that my parents accepted.

"So, my parents stepped out on faith, secured green cards, packed up a few suitcases, said their goodbyes, and took off for this exotic new place called Baton Rouge, Louisiana."

Very good summation, SatinDoll!

That covered a lot of ground very succinctly.

Jindal and BHO are not NBCs, based on what I’ve read in the Constitution.

“...a definition of “Natural Born Citizen” as being born on American soil (or an American military base) of two parents who are American citizens.”

Wherever did you get the idea that being born on “an American military base” substitutes for being born in the United States itself?

For example, Sen. John McCain was born in Panama. His parents were U.S. citizens, so he has “derived citizenship”. It doesn’t matter if it was the Canal Zone or on a Navy Base, since he wasn’t born in the United States he isn’t a natural born citizen.

I know this is difficult for those military vets who’s children were born overseas on military bases, but your kids are U.S. citizens, just not eligible to be President.

Natural born is and has always been someone who is born on US soil to two US citizens (who were citizens at the time of birth).

Mr. Jindal that does not include you. You are naturalized, an anchor baby. No way are anchor babies natural born citizens.

Obummer did it and got away with it. I think Jindal should try because obviously the Constitution means nothing anymore.

Perhaps Jindal released his birth certificate to heighten the discussion that Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen, just because Obama was supposedly born on US soil? Also brings up the whole argument that anchor babies cannot become President.

Jindal could announce a bid for Presidency and some leftist or RHINO candidate could protest and challenge Jindal’s eligibility to the Supreme Court of the United States, which if they had any cajones would rule Jindal, and thereby Obama ineligible for the office of President because of the founders Natural Born Citizen clause intent to require two citizen parents rather than just simple citizen born on US soil, which could include anchor babies of foreign nationals or illegal aliens.

The SCOTUS could also finally rule that the idea of anchor babies automatic citizenship is incorrect.

To bad it's an unlikely dream of mine that the SCOTUS would actually take these issues on.

Maybe Obama will say or do something else that will finally piss the majority of the SCOTUS off?

The only thing I see written in the Constitution is that one be born in the USA to be NBC - I see absolutely nothing mentioned about parents unless they give birth to someone outside the USA. What someone thinks an author meant when writting a law means squat. We have to read the actual words. It is obvious to me that the two parent rule is just a figment of a conspiratal imagination. GET OVER IT. I used to be in the two parent group but I’ve changed my mind and until the Supreme Court takes a stand I just keep my yap shut.

Vattel’s book was present at the writing of the Constitution, we know that from witnesses at the event, and the book is even mentioned in Article I!

That means absolute crap. There were hundreds of books present at the writing - including the Koran. Read the freekin words. If you are born in the USA you are natural born, if you are born outside the USA and to US Parents you are natural born; if you are born outside the USA to non USA parents you are an alien unless and until you come to America and become a naturalized citizen - THEN you are eligible to run for any office except President and VP. GOT IT?

Unless, the parents have taken an oath to the USA which only happens when they become naturalized citizens...then a child born to them is NOT a NBC. This BC clearly shows that.

The clause in the Constitution allows for Citizens to serve in Congress. To be President, they required Natural Born Citizenship.

They're was a reason the framers spelled out different qualifications. They didn't want divided loyalties for the Commander of the American Army.

Obama, without a doubt has loyalties that disfavor America.

The framers were very smart.

Levin who some say reads FR must realize that his definition of NBC makes it possible for Osama’s successor, Anwar al-Awalaki, born in Las Cruces NM, to be the next POTUS. What motivates Levin’s position on this apart from his reading of the Constitution apparently is a mystery.

Obama, without a doubt has loyalties that disfavor America.

It goes beyond that.

To this very day he has a right (whether he has every claimed it directly or not) to be a British Citizen. And as such the UK could apply their laws to him should be physically within their bounderies.

Obama is STILL a dual Citizen!

He was born a Brit. He did not lose that right when Kenya gained independence in 1963. He merely gained the opportunity to obtain Kenya citizenship - as well! But that did NOT nullify his access to British citizenship. In fact to formally nullify you need a specific form filled out - form RN from the British government.

From a college professor:

http://instruct.westvalley.edu/hannigan/Eligibility_Dialogue.pdf

"Therefore the President seems to hold dual citizenship with Great Briton and the United States."

"The KC article 95 confirms the status of Commonwealth status to its Kenyan citizens. No Act, law or decree therefore removed Barak‘s Commonwealth Citizenship status as received when he received Kenyan Citizenship."

"Therefore the President seems to hold dual citizenship with Great Briton and the United States."

Is Great Briton anywhere near Great Britain? And did a college professor actually write that?

“Yes he is, he was born here, period, leave him alone. No need to drag a decent man into this.”

Being born here isn’t good enough to be President. The generally accepted definition of Natural Born Citizen which has been upheld in 4 Supreme Court cases and based upon Vattel’s “Law of Nations” is a person born in the USA of two US citizens. And no I’m not going to list them because I have done that here twice previously. Look it up yourself. Barack Obama has been allowed to be elected illegally. He is not a Natural Born Citizen and he never should have been allowed to become President. This whole thing is the biggest fraud the Congress and SCOTUS of the USA has ever allowed to be perpetrated on the public. This has caused a 2.5 year constitutional crisis. The GOP is just as much to blame as the Democrats.

The Democratic Party of Hawaii refused to sign the nomination certificate for Obama in Oct 2008 because Obama could not provide sufficient documention of eligibility. So they had to have Nancy Pelosi commit perjury and send one down from DC so the Elections Supervisor could use a loophole in the HI election laws to put Barry on the ballot.

Barack Obama is the perfect example of why the Founding Fathers did not want a person with possible loyalties to another country to become the POTUS. Just look at what he is doing to our country. He has no love for America. He grew up in Indonesia and Hawaii which is not exactly mainstream America. He has no feel for the heartland of our country. He does not bellieve in the exceptionalism of America. He does not see a shining city on a hill. Obama sees himself as a citizen of the world and the reason for that I just explained above.

So no Impy Bobby Jindal cannot ever be President of the United States and neither can 3 of Donald Trump’s 4 children. All decent folks but not Natural Born Citizens.

What someone thinks an author meant when writting [sic] a law means squat. We have to read the actual words. It is obvious to me that the two parent rule is just a figment of a conspiratal imagination.

Then you don't know squat. It is more than common for court cases to reference "original intent" in their decisions pertaining to Constitutional cases, and to quote the Framers and notes from the Constitutional Convention in their decisions.

Freeper rxsid has many such notations on his profile page pertaining to this particular topic.

If Jindal ever decides to run for president, nothing will stop him. There will be no legal ruling against him doing so and the 1% of the population who agrees with you will have no case.
