Romney's GOP Supporters Tilt Upscale; Palin's, Downscale (Everybody is downscale now??)

Republican college degree holders are more likely than those without a degree to support Mitt Romney for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012, 21% vs. 13%. Similarly, Romney's support climbs from 9% of Republicans earning less than $24,000 annually to 21% of those earning $90,000 or more. The reverse is true for Sarah Palin, who is favored by nearly twice as many Republicans without a college degree as those with one, 16% vs. 9%, and her support decreases by income from 22% among the lowest income group to 7% among the highest.

Just shows a college degree doesn’t mean you’re smart.

The agenda here is no secret. Why not just survey the number of teeth that supporters of the candidates have and get it over with?

Oddly enough, I’m a college grad, and I’m supporting Governor Palin. Yes, I know. I’m weird. You have no idea.

My friend has a term for book-smart “geniuses”: Educated idiots.

It's spot on.

Okay, I have a college degree, make more than $90k a year and I would vote for Palin.

What do I win?

I support neither.

Romney sucks, and Palin has higher negatives than Charlie Sheen.

I am not voting for the Ivy League. The two schools of Harvard and Yale have got us in this mess.

I would say you're smart enough to resist the absurd socialist indoctrination in liberal colleges. Me too. I would put my degrees, both the level and the school names, up against any in the world for quality, my assets put me in a comfortable bracket even if I never work again, and yet Palin is my first choice (and I have all my teeth and didn't marry my own cousin).

Lying, fascist, and stupid "Republican" college degree
holders are both more likely to support Mitt Romney.

Also, supporters of IAG.

Gosh, if I believe this report, I only have two choices: (1) step up to support Romney; or (2) ditch my Benz, quit membership at Country Club; purchase some overalls; have two front teeth pulled and MOVE!!!

I also have a degree and am in that upper income range. I’ll take Sarah Palin over Mitt Romney any day of the week.

No political bias here with Gallup /s. I have a 4 year college degree and would vote for Palin over any of the other potential nominees.
