To the best of my knowledge Cain has yet to campaign here, and he's winning early straw polls. It looks good BUT....Wrong Paul won a lot of straw polls in 08 and did jack squat in the primaries.

Wow. THIS is promising.

(I doubt Cain has spamming, swarming groupies flooding the polls like WRong Paul has. None of the polls he wins are legit - he's a bona fide loser).

This is a good sign of things to come.

Honestly, there should be some sort of FR Macro that deletes all threads containing the words “straw poll.”

We here in WA get Cable TV and Fox News broadcast the SC Debate. The MSM is going to try and ignore Cain for as long as possible, but he won the debate and people saw him. I intend to behave like a Paul Groupie and demand that pollsters include Cain, declared candidate and Republican debate winner.

I think it would be WONDERFUL if Herman Cain won the nominaton.

I would just LOVE to watch the left fumble and bumble around with the whole race issue. They just wouldn’t know what to do with a smart, successful conservative black (not half white) man. I would also love to see how it changed the black vote, if at all.

A sweet sight to see would be Herman Cain kicking Hussein’s ass all over the debate stage. And then in the polls. And then on election day.

This is an article by someone who clearly has missed the boat.

I don’t think the MSM would dare to treat a black candidate for President the way they did Thomas, even if he is a conservative. Nor would they dare to refer to him as that cookie. The fringe uses that term.
In the first place, the attack against Thomas was allegedly about sexual harassment.
Middle class blacks who are paying higher prices along with the rest of us could be thrilled to have a real alternative to voting for Obama.
The MSM would attack his economic ideas, and yes, some blacks will say he is acting white. He will explain his positions very clearly and may even teach the socialists a thing or two. I don’t think theman would stumble before the msm.
The “acting white” discussion is one we desperately need to have. In such a discussion he would be joined by and supported by men like Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Bill Cosby, etc. It’s way past time these men told Jesse and Al to shut up and stop causing so much harm.

Cain is a former FED chairman elitist who is against auditing the FED. We don’t need another like he. Just say no Cain do.

Wrong Paul did jack squat in the primaries, but Cain is a far more measured candidate that doesn’t come across as a nutcase.

There are so many candidates running for VP. We could save a lot of effort and money that would be useful in the general election by asking Sara Palin who she wants on the ticket with her.

I actually agree that Herman Cain did a great job at the SC Debate and was the clear winner. He even had me nodding my head thinking (just based on the debate), "I could vote for him".

But Herman Cain wrote article in support of the TARP bailout.

And listen to Herman Cain in his own words talk out of both sides of his mouth on the Federal Reserve, which he once worked for.

Herman Cain is no Tea Partyer. He's just another Republican good at saying whatever we want to hear, even if he doesn't mean a word of it.
