As for the illegals who remain, reformers argue that it is unrealistic to expect the government to deport some 11 million people. Absolutely unrealistic, as our "government" has totally failed in that respect. The fact that they are still pushing the 1990's mantra of "11 million" is proof that they never will remove the criminal illegal aliens from the u.S.
The only logical conclusion is for States to take more control of the removal process. Since States may not necessarily have the authority to eject a criminal illegal alien from the u.S. they probably can find a way to force them out of that state.
I wonder how dee-cee would welcome "11 million" (30-40 million) criminal illegal aliens being dumped there? It would make for one hell of a sink-o dee may-o parade...

But the experience in Arizona suggests that self-deportation occurs when and where immigration laws are toughened enforced.
Weeks before Arizona's strict law went into effect, large numbers of Hispanics illegal aliens left the state for good.
Schools in Hispanic areas populated by illegal aliens reported unusually big drops in enrollment, USA Today reported. A district superintendent said parents told him the Arizona law was the reason for them leaving.

I noticed in 2007 that the FNC Special Report panelists were all supporting ‘immigration reform’ . Also you heard NO debate about repealing DADT last year on FNC. To kill that liberal push (change the polls) would have required a big media push and FNC didnt want to lose viewers, my guess.
I have long ago labeled FNC as establishment Republican, not conservative. Glenn Beck is an exception, and he got his walking papers.
