28% are GOP, 45% claim Tea Party, 72% of those who claim Tea Party also assert "Independent" votership. As I said, nearly 70% (well over 60%).

That doesn't count the Blue Dogs who support Tea Party's goals, but who shy from the candor required to thus label themselves with polsters.

Might be over 70%.

Bottom line, GOP + Tea = way over 50%, and that's all they need for a slaughter in Nove '12. Factor in that the GO/Tea will be far more energized for this cycle than the disenfranchised Obots. Include the fact that no GOP candidate can win without Tea Party support, and that the vast majority of Tea Party voters represent the strong core of Palin's most rabid base, et voila!
