Suggesting that Palin might not be the Messiah is blasphemy around here.

That's not really fair. I don't see most Palin supporters (including myself) demonizing reasoned arguments why she might not be the best candidate. People just disagree and wish to make their point. The media detest Palin and have attempted to destroy her, and it is frustrating to see folks buying the MSM's "she's not electable" spin. It is normal for very prominent politicians who have gone through the media ringer to have high negatives at the outset. Once they are in the race and are running as a presidential candidate those negatives tend to come way down.

I certainly don't consider you an enemy for disagreeing and I think Steyn is great, I just think your both wrong. I think most Palin supporters here and elsewhere would see it the same way.

It's quite fair. I was a Palin supporter before most people on this forum even heard of her. But the few times I tried to have a reasoned discussion about her as a politician I was flamed big time - called all sorts of unkind names.

I love Sarah Palin, but I won't drink the Kool Aid. The worst flames came when I pointed out that she is NOT a Ronald Reagan. By the time Reagan ran for president he had FOUR successful careers under his belt.

I probably shouldn't continue this conversation. The last time I discussed Sarah I was nearly banned from Freerepublic, which gives you some kind of idea of the sentiments of the Mods.
