You have zero clue about West Africa or indeed any part of modern Africa.
Rape is pandemic - even for males. HIV is not proof of promiscuity. Africa is rapidly returning to its pre-european colonial period norms.

Rape is pandemic - even for males. HIV is not proof of promiscuity. There is a persistent myth in Africa that sex with a virgin cures HIV. So you have people who know they are infected raping people and spreading the disease in a misguided attempt to cure themselves.
