This incident is bound to produce highly charged and contentious trial. May top OJ Simpson saga.In France perhaps. Not here. Most Americans don't care about this guy, to the point where few knew/know who he is. That won't change much, even with the media attention it will get. It's a French/New York angle story.

Not sure folks can completely tune out and ignore it. Once French start to hurl all kinds of names at Americans(they don't discriminate NYers from the rest of the country,) things will change.
