Let me ask you something...what is actually wrong with citizens owning stocks in banks? BTW, this initial bailout proposal of his cost $350 million(?) but was paid back. Anyone with any shred of integrity, and Paulbots have little when it comes to smearing opponents, would realize that he opposed the larger bailouts later. D

Do some research, it will do you some good. BTW, RP ain’t going to win, so this is all academic.

It has come up in interview after interview and here is where he stands (Herman Cain on the Fed), in his own words

Pard, I consider the Federal Reserve to be a bigger threat to this nation than al Qaeda. I will cast my vote accordingly.

And BTW, I wouldn't vote for Ron Paul for dogcatcher.

A similar kind of thinking was what put Michael Steele in the RNC leadership position.

Take it to the bank - somewhere the Demonrats and their MSM propaganda ministers are (or soon will be) working feverishly to dig up dirt on Mr. Cain. In fact, let's play a little game here. Let's guess what story they'll "uncover" about Mr. Cain.

Not that I would ever accuse the Demonrat/MSM complex of playing the race card, but I'm going to come right out and predict that they'll "find" that he "sexually harrassed" a white woman while he was a CEO.

They'll run that story night and day for a whole week, leaking "new" details daily of how terribly this poor woman was treated, until he is forced out of the race. They'll tut tut over his neanderthal view of women, and NEVER mention the obvious race issue. They'll just put it out there knowing how a lot of people will react emotionally.

Mr. Cain - if your campaign people monitor these kinds of on line forums, you heard it here first. Watch your Six.

And, for the record, I'll crawl over broken glass to vote for this guy, if I get the chance.

The only resemblance of Herman Cain to Michael Steele is the color of his skin.

The content of the Hermanator's character is light years beyond that of the pandering 'fo shizzle' Steele.

I’ve followed Herman for years on the Boortz show and then his own radio show.

I can’t find the archives, but I know he has said that the idea he posted was sound, but then politicians got in the way and the way it was implemented was bad.

I’ve heard him say on multiple occasions that “the government should not be in the business of picking winners and losers.”

I do hope he clarifies this article soon.

That's not exactly what he said.

I participated in a teleconference with him on Wednesday afternoon; the very first question was about the Federal Reserve. You are correct in saying that he wants to keep the Fed and does not want to "end it." He said, "Don't END the Fed; fix it."

His follow-up question to people who do want to end it is, "If you end it, what would you replace it with?"

Then he said that auditing the Fed is OK, but he is "not leading that parade."

I was left with the impression that, as President, he would support (perhaps appoint) someone else taking the lead on that project, but as President he wouldn't DO it himself.

My top 4 candidates consist of two black men and two women.

I know who you mean and I agree.

Great points. And yes, Herman knows he's going to be targeted by the Left with a vengeance ...

'They're Going to Come After Me More Viciously Than They Would a White Candidate'

Women and Blacks are supposed to stay on the Liberal plantation. Herman will get the Sarah treatment. I think they'll make an awesome team.

I like Cain, but without a political background, I don’t know if he has a chance.

I like Cain, but without a political background, I don’t know if he has a chance.

I’d rather have a businessman who needs political advisors than a politician who needs business advisors, and I think at this point a lot of voters would tend to agree. We’ve had nothing but career politicians as President for the past two decades, and look at the mess we’re in.

I have never made a campaign contribution in my life. I don’t much care for politicians and lawyers. That being said, I found myself at Herman Cains website this morning making a modest contribution. To paraphrase another poster: I’d rather have a president with sound business experience who needs political advisers than the opposite.

“It is only through labor and painful effort, by grim energy and resolute courage, that we move on to better things.”
