I live in Ft. Worth suburbs. There has been a lot of hail.
There’s a suspected F2 tornado, but it’s in SE Dallas County, at least 20 miles south east of Fort Worth.

Texas often has lots of shifting top soil, not rock below it. Can’t build a basement on that very well.

So far. I think the worse is over in this part..but there are some new ones fixing to move through here again with the actual dry line. They don’t look as bad.

She should be ok. I’m in neighboring Coppell and the worst of the storm was south of us.

Tornadoes are popping up everywhere!!!! I have a friends house in Argyle who’s house has damage from tornado tonight.

Storms still coming!

Thanks for the prayers. Lots of folks all through the south sure need them tonight. This latest stuff doesn’t look near as bad as the last two or three. Can’t remember how many we’ve had tonight now. It’s been a busy night.

He makes the rain fall on the good and the bad.
Nature doing what nature does ... that's all.

I think of the lyrics of the great hymn, "How Great Thou Art":

I hear the mighty thunder,
Thy pow'r throughout
The universe displayed;

I don't think it's a coincidence that the tornado belt and the Bible Belt overlap to a large extent. We in this part of the world experience God's wonders in vivid (and sometimes up close) ways. As the saying goes, there are no atheists in foxholes. That might apply also to those of us here tornado alley. This afternoon and evening, faith in Almighty God is indeed Blessed Assurance, a wonderful comfort and peace that passes understanding.

I actually pity liberals and atheists who have so little hope when nature's fury is on display.

Got the hail too. This reminded me of the same thing when that tornado destroyed parts of Lancaster a decade or so ago.

I did the exact same thing, heard the wind rushing, went to the door to look outside, trees going every which way, that weird “alien lightning” where it’s short staccato flashes everywhere but no thunder, and the sky is all green.

Only with Lancaster, the tornado passed within 1/4 mile of my house in Cedar Hill.

I’ve never seen the tornados threaten one area for as long as it did tonight. They usually pass over quickly, not linger overhead for hours!

Finally looks like we may be out of the woods, but I wonder about Wilmer-Hutchins.
