“The US President was offered the chance to receive the King Charles II medal, which is awarded in “exceptional circumstances” to heads of state who have “made an outstanding contribution to furthering scientific research in their country”.

And when exactly did the RaceMarxist do that?

He is ALL about punishing the productive.

He SHOULD have turned down this award.

Is the Royal Society another Nobel Committee; a group of propagandizing Leftists for whom political propaganda trumps “science”?

It has become that. A saner man than Obama might refuse to accept a reward from them as a rebuke to all their inane posturing on AGW.

You took the keys right outta my hands.

What are these “exceptional circumstances” ?
What is this “outstanding contribution” he’s made?
How has research been “furthered” by O’bozo?

The Royal Society used to be a very important organization that included only the most important scientists of the country. Isaac Newton was a member. It appears that nowadays, membership may require other attributes.....If I was to guess, I would say that they were enamoured of “O’s” flushing money down the drain over climate control.
