Based on what's out so far, this is just total BS and they're trying to cover their butts for making a bad call in a situation they should never have created in the first place. Damn, if he had a regular job they could have served him a warrant any time they wanted right at his job. Or, would they have needed a SWAT team to do that as well?

I agree. This SWAT team crapola is really getting out of hand. The SWAT is supposed to be used for crazies involved in gun standoff’s or bank robberies etc. Not to serve warrants on people. Its ridiculous and just another ploy to put the police state in place on all of us. Remember Elian Gonzales?
In their eyes regardless of circumstances or outcome the use of these Swat teams justifies their existence and their line on the budget.

it’s safer for the “SWAT” guys to kick in the doors....a few innocent civilians get killed along the way but hey.....that’s just the cost of doing business.....and DON’T YOU DARE QUESTION IT!!!
