Bachmann was on John King last night and when she said if she gets in she's in it to win it. Of course no candidate is going to say they can't win, but she sure sounded like this was more than just getting exposure or just warming the seats for Palin.
I don't know why. It may be just the whole "celebrity politics" thing in their small minds. Add to that, it is likely incomprehensible to them how women and Blacks can be conservatives.

It doesn’t make sense for Bachmann to run when she’s polling around 5% and has been able to raise money that she will need to keep her House seat after district lines are adjusted. If she splits the conservative vote with Palin and Romney wins, her stature with conservatives will diminish. It’s not about two women. It’s about three conservatives splitting the conservative vote and leaving us with another RINO.
