I rode it. It was fantastic. We left the Pentagon parking lot as neat as we found it too, which usually says something to me about the character of large crowds. Whenever the Leftists have a big thing on in DC, the place is a sea of trash afterwards.

We formed up in the morning in the parking lot, and were there standing by waiting for everybody to assemble. We were there for about four hours. I didn't anticipate that, so I am kind of sunburned. I did successfully take a fully-asleep nap on my bike on it's kickstand, while I was waiting. :-)

After the ride, I took a break from riding around town and bumped into some Australians who were here for the first time and absolutely loved the event. Also talked bikes for a while with a DC motorcycle cop who was doing traffic control on a not-that-busy street. I had a great time, sorry I missed it last year.
