You’re talking about a govt program so the govt is deciding whats approved. Guess that was a hard connection to make.

But no surprise, the insurance companies SUPPORTED Obamacare. They thought they were gonna make money so they threw everyone in this country to the wolves.

“If I am shot while hunting, should someone else be forced to pay the bill? Of course not.”

Of course not Comrade, its not a govt approved activity.

I see. By your rationale, then, if the government witholds money for prison inmates to get college degrees, then it’s trying to control your education, right? Only if you’re a criminal, I guess. You still haven’t answered my question: do you support taxpayer-funded government healthcare programs with no strings attached? It would seem that you do, in addition to believing that someone else is responsible for taking care of any expenses that arise as a result of your lifestyle choices.

Freedom allows us to be idiots, as long as it isn’t against the law. Personal responsibility is the dividing line between stupidity, and the abyss. If you choose to be an idiot I’m not going to try to stop you; just don’t tell me I have the responsibility of taking care of your dumb ass after you’ve broken it... which is exactly the argument you are making, all attempts at snappy comebacks aside.

And as an aside, I represent 23 different insurers, and NOT ONE OF THEM supported Obamacare. If you quit your whining about how life is just so unfair when it comes to wolves and health coverage, you would see that we’re all in the same boat when it comes to getting screwed by this abortion of a bill. Just one of the national health insurers I work with has laid off roughly 50% of their field force, and roughly 30% of their administrative staff, as a direct result it. Personally, my commissions on health sales are down roughly 40% across the board, I no longer recieve bonuses, and insurance stocks are in the crapper... so those of us with company retirement plans are literally starting from scratch, in addition to working harder to make less money than before. Is this assuaging your ego with respect to big, bad corporate America?
