The California Chamber of Commerce rolled out its so-called "job killers list" last week ahead of the final week for the state Senate and Assembly to pass their own bills before sending them to the other house.
California Governor Jerry Brown was Tuesday's KVML "Newsmaker of the Day".
This year's roster names 28 proposed laws the chamber says would hurt the state's economy as it emerges from recession. All are sponsored by Democrats, as has been the case almost exclusively with the hundreds of bills to which the chamber has given its stamp of disapproval over the years.

Sadly, once we became a "magnet state" for every welfarite and parasite in the country, they soon overwhelmed us in the voting booth. Then, as business after business folded up and left, it got worse. Hopefully we are left to rot in our own sewage.

Allow me to slightly amend your statement to read ‘hopefully the SEIU, welfare leeches, unrepentant democrat voters and illegal aliens are left to rot in their own sewage.’
Thank you for the amendment. We have gone from employers to not wanting anything to do with employing ANYONE in this wretched state. So, so sad. Not the employees fault, just the regulations and non-stop demands.
Public employees have to be paid by SOMEONE.
My employer started here in CA in 1942 and has grown to operations in 5 other states. I’m about 6 years from retirement, but my employer may pull the plug on its CA ops before then.
Asking if California’s governor is “job friendly” is like asking if bees can make honey with dust.
It simply makes no sense in context.
